No car needed. The city was very walkable.

To do:

• We did a self guided walking tour of the city, and were able to knock off all of the main attractions this way. Kids did great in a stroller with many stops for gelato.

• Pantheon was incredible. Worth going inside.

• The other major stops are also recommended. Getting a tour for the Colosseum is also recommended, as many tour companies are able to skip the line to enter.

  • They did have elevators, so walking with a stroller was no problem.

To see:

• Everything. What a beautiful city.

To eat:

• Gelato everywhere was fantastic. Even the overhyped places were still great.

• Trastevere was where we stayed, and had by far the best food we ate.

• Restaurant Ai Spaghettari was the best place we ate.
