Southern Sweden (Malmo & Lund)

Sweden
Lund Sweden

We took the train from Copenhagen and it was easy to navigate Malmo and Lund without a car

To do:

  • Definitely visit Malmo Castle. The museum was fun for our kids as well. Surprisingly, they had an aquarium that the kids also enjoyed.

  • Lund cathedral is almost 1000 years old and was fun to visit. In fact, the entire town of Lund is a medieval town. Very fun to walk around.

To see:

  • Walk around Gamla staden

  • Lund University has a beautiful area to walk around

  • Lots of fun little places all around the city as well. Very walkable.

To eat:

  • Lilla Kafferosteriet - Great place for fika!

  • Malmo Foodhall was amazing. Lots of good restaurants. We ended up buying some fresh fruit and of course, Swedish meatballs which were a highlight of the trip. Also, it was on the way from Gamla staden towards Malmo castle.

  • We stayed at Hotel Concordia, and it was probably my favorite breakfast of the trip.

  • Saluhallen Lund was another great foodhall. Close to the main area in Lund.
