• Windsurfer beach is a good inlet for swimming in Pineview

• Borrow a canoe and go to Causey

• Powder Mountain is both great in winter and summer. Even when there is no snow, great hiking trails. Worth the drive.

• Nordic Valley is my go to ski resort

• Snowbasin is also good for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. There is a good restaurant at the top of the gondola

• Float the weber river

• Betos - These are all over the wasatch front. Rancheritos is also good and very similar

• Cafe Rio is better than Costa Vida - Get the sweet pork

• Eats of Eden

• Wing Wah - Reviews are pretty mixed, but its nostalgic so I love it

• A little out of the way, but Taggarts Grill can be worth the trek

• Straw market - great for baked goods

• Bruges in SLC - they also have one at the airport now. Get a waffle and the machine gun sandwich
